We saw too many people leave other law firms feeling confused, disconnected, or dismissed—especially in moments that were already emotional and overwhelming. We believed there had to be a better way. So we built one.
Our Story
AZ Legal Solutions began in Tempe, Arizona, with a clear mission: To provide legal support that’s grounded in professionalism, built on trust, and delivered with compassion.
From our earliest cases to the clients we serve today, we’ve stayed focused on what matters most: giving people real access to experienced legal representation, without the frustration, formality, or handoffs that define high-volume firms.
We don’t believe in transactional law. We believe in relationships, outcomes, and long-term peace of mind.

Leadership & Experience
Scott Griffiths founded AZ Legal Solutions with a simple but powerful belief: the legal process should serve people—not overwhelm them. After years working at large litigation firms in Phoenix and Scottsdale, Scott saw firsthand how traditional law firms often put process over people, and volume over clarity. He set out to build something different.
AZ Legal Solutions was created to be personal, not procedural. Scott built the firm around a client-first model—where every person gets direct access to an attorney, every question gets a real answer, and every case is treated with care, not just efficiency.
His legal experience includes family law, personal injury, medical and legal malpractice, and commercial litigation, giving him the tools to guide clients through some of life’s most difficult moments with confidence and clarity.

When he’s not practicing law, Scott finds peace in his garden and joy in caring for his backyard chickens—staying grounded in the same values that guide his practice: clarity, consistency, and care.
Marty Zalevsky
Attorney
Marty has been practicing family law since 2010. She is a past member of the Arizona Family Rules Committee for the State Bar and has worked as an Assistant Attorney General for the Child Support and Family Protection Division, Child Support Services. Marty works hard to make sure all family law clients get the help they need at one of the most difficult times in anyone’s life.
Liz Mercurio
Senior Paralegal
Liz’s personal legal experience is what helped her solidify her decision to become a paralegal. Her journey through the court system has given her great insight into what our clients go through. Liz began her professional journey with AZ Legal Solutions in 2022 as she finished her degree in paralegal studies and quickly found herself in the senior paralegal position, working side by side with the attorneys to help our clients with their cases.
Rico Medina
Case Manager
Before joining AZ Legal Solutions in 2021, Rico worked in a number of client-centered positions where making sure customer service was foremost and at the front of all he did. With his wealth of experience, he helps us reach our mission of putting clients first.
Blanca Vasquez
Senior Intake Specialist
Blanca joined the AZ Legal Solutions team in 2021 as the translator for our Spanish-speaking clients, ensuring that their voices were heard. Blanca quickly moved into our Intake Specialist position as she is looking to help all clients be heard and make sure the attorneys see all the information needed to help those clients as they take on different cases.
Maia Alvarez
Receptionist
Maia is the newest member of the AZ Legal Solutions team, joining us in 2025 to help us serve our clients better. Maia answers the calls and makes sure clients get in touch with the right people in the office. Maia is also the welcome committee when our clients come into the office for meetings, making sure they feel welcome and comfortable, so they understand that clients come first.
Francisca Vasquez-Griffiths

Francisca started with AZ Legal Solutions when it was still in its infancy. Francisca manages the day-to-day happenings in the office, greeting every team member and client with a smile, making sure we hold on to our mission of always keeping that personal connection with our clients.
